Dr. Jake Ward (Michael Hawash) has a doctorate in Psychology, specifically hypnosis and memory recall. He helps Luna attain her memories as a young child, and attempts to reason with her fantastic ideas. Later we find that Jake actually works for the Nasa. He activily tries to help the two girls while trying to appease the C.I.A.

A high-profile, licensed attorney to practice law in all courts throughout Texas, Michael Hawash performs in his first film role in The Last Astronaut. Mr. Hawash has frequently been admitted pro hac vice by the bar associations of many other states. In addition to traditional court cases, Mr. Hawash also handles arbitrations brought under the American Arbitration Association (AAA), Judicial Arbitration & Mediation Services (JAMS) and International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) rules. Mr. Hawash is also a certified mediator. Mr. Hawash can be engaged as a neutral-mediator to aid parties in finding a resolution to their disputes outside of the courtroom.

When not practicing law, Mr. Hawash indulges his passion for military history by visiting and exploring great battlefields all over the world. Mr. Hawash resides in Houston, Texas with his wife, Tori, and sons, Luke and Gray.
